The median price paid for all Southern California homes sold in April 2016 was $458,000. This was up 2.2 percent from $448,000 in March 2016* and up 6.8 percent year over year from $429,000 in April 2015. The median sale price of San Diego county is $489,000, rose 7.5% from the same period of 2015. Sales, though, have declined 1.7% reflecting the tightening inventory and rising prices.
